Alexa rank of 33% improvement in 1 month

About a month ago I was even watching what I could improve my website. Now I noticed that my Alexa rank was not too wonderful. I even noticed that, even though I keep my same number of visitors each rank slightly increased. Not so positive then. Here I had something urgent to do.

After some research, I often shady tools against those who promised in a few days time you rank in half, yeah right. If they promise something and it sounds too good to be true then it is usually true. So I had to find another way.

So I went once thought. If you know how the Alexa rank works.
The Alexa rank is determined by how many people with the Alexa toolbar in IE (grrr) you visit. Ok, there is already a big problem for me because most readers of my site with Firefox or Safari works, my rank is not really correct.
What this toolbar does is getting the Alexa rank and it shows in the toolbar. On the basis of that request Alexa also suddenly aware that a visitor has been on that particular website.
Now I had seen that there are widgets that Alexa rank of your Web site. Most likely their data via the same service, unless the IE toolbar, ahaaa. So ... if there is a visitor on your website, no matter what browser will zoiezo a request sent to the Alexa server to the data for the widget to get thus count all visitors to your website.

So far the theory, now it was time for such a wonderful widget on my website to the bottom as you can see in my footer. And now but wait and see whether my theory is true story.

The chart above shows how my Alexa rank has fallen to a month. The first week there was even a decline of nearly 100,000.

Time for an Alexa widget on your website to continue.

If you prefer not such a great widget to your website and you still want to enjoy an Alexa rank decrease you are around a widget divje throwing and display: none command.

    You have to do Kenneh as follows:

    In your html:
    <Div id = "alexarundell">
    alexarundell widget code
    </ Div>
    (do not forget the spaces in the divs away)

    In your CSS:

    # (alexarundell
    display: none;
    )
